Prior to joining EFC officially as the Lead Pastor in 2019, Ernie served as a missionary in Guadalajara, Mexico. He has also served as Professor of Missions at Steinbach Bible College. Ernie has an incredible heart for people and a fun-loving spirit. Ernie is married to Diane.
Kiara Kosta
Youth Director
Kiara is a recent graduate of Steinbach Bible College (SBC) that is passionate about connecting with young people, intercultural ministry, and making sure everything is organized to run smoothly. Kiara serves half-time here at EFC as well as working as the Advancement Assistant at SBC half-time. Recently, Kiara got married to her husband Dominik and enjoys playing board/card games, reading, watching TV shows and movies with friends, and pursuing adventures!
Bertha Voth
Office Administrator
Bertha has served at EFC since 2003. Apart from answering phones, Bertha does the book-keeping and oversees all facility rentals. Bertha loves reading, especially when on a tropical vacation with her husband Cornie.
Trevor Fleming
Associate Pastor
Trevor is the newest addition to our staff team at EFC serving as Associate Pastor. Trevor has close to 20 years experience in various field of youth ministry, including recent ministry at Glencross Mennonite Church (Morden). Trevor enjoys hockey, woodworking, computers, house renovations and spending time with his family. Trevor is married to Jamie and they have 3 kids, Brooklyn, Jack and Rex.
